Home by Baauer Featuring Bipolar Sunshine from the Planet’s Mad album

I’ve been paying close attention to the releases that have been dripping out for Baauer’s Planet’s Mad album over the last 4 months.  With so much heritage and innovation, it is impossible not to take note.  Even when selecting for my guest set on BBC 1xtra I ensured that Magic got a drop and was continually impressed by the pieces that followed with glimpses of the brilliance that the movie was to behold.
This week has seen the complete release of the album along with the movie, which for me was a complete surprise and of course, a welcome one.  Having previously downloaded many parts of the album, this week I was taken in by Home featuring Bipolar Sunrise, which has a softer body than a lot of the other pieces.  I can see this fast becoming a favourite for my sets and can’t wait to let it go.
Bipolar Sunshine may be best known for the track Daydreamer or Middle which was produced by DJ Snake, however he has a list of fantastic tracks that are well received.  The British singer / songwriter from Manchester, has a knack for creating and collaborating on great music ever since his departure from Kid British.  He has selected perfectly again with his contribution to Baauer’s Planet’s Mad.  I suggest that you not only listen to the full album, but take the 40 minutes to watch the entire Movie which keeps you transfixed by the awesome visuals coupled with the devastating soundtrack.
